Here's what happens

You send your manuscript.

It should be complete or nearly complete, with just a few small gaps at most. You'll also tell me about your goals for the book, so I can tailor my feedback to your needs.

I provide written feedback.

You'll get 1-3 pages of notes on big picture issues like structure, flow, voice, coherence, and overall writing style. I won't make line-by-line edits — that comes later, if you choose to do revisions with me.

We make a revision plan.

We'll get on the phone to talk through my feedback, answer your questions, and make a plan for executing the changes your manuscript needs.
